Personally, no I have not found one book I can indefinitely vouch for in this regard. Still on the hunt! lol so to speak, because each book offers its unique insights and valuable information making it very difficult for me to single out one as the ultimate resource. In many ways though, I thrive as my library grows and unconsciously hope there are no “holy grails” out there to keep me in line with pursuit of lifelong dedication to learning.
As you mentioned though, there are many great books such as Aviva Romm’s Botanical Medicine for Women’s Health, which is a comprehensive reference book that blends traditional herbal medicine with modern scientific data. And then there other books that align more with folk herbalism traditions, such as with Anne McIntyre and Rosemary Gladstar. I do enjoy the mix, and find I reach for some more than others. These below full of hidden gems!
