Only have ground ivy in tincture, and so I paired it with eyebright and self heal (all tinctures). Topically, I alternated with warm chamomile fomentations, yarrow poultice and cool aloe vera gel…but my situation was different, I fell and cut my temple/brow (centimeters from my eyelid) and was dealing with lots of swelling/bruising around my eye. Glad to hear your eye is feeling a little better, what have you tried so far?

Ground ivy (Glechoma hederacea) is indeed an herb that has fallen out of favor in many modern herbal books and materia medica publications, and I’m not sure why? Despite this, it has a rich history of traditional use and is still honored for its medicinal properties by many herbalists and health experts.
