    Hi! I’ve been unable to go whole hog this year as I’ve been physically off. That said, my lemon balm is off the chain and it’s one I rely on for my mercurial nervous system. Also rosemary, sage, oregano, thyme, lavender, roses.

    Excellent topic and really important for people who eat a plant based diet. I’m pretty sure it also causes/exacerbates leaky gut as do other plant constituents depending on quantity and a person’s health/sensitivity. Being genetically prone to inflammation, I try to keep an eye on oxalates. One of my favorite foods is an oxalate bomb: oatmeal with raspberries! So I don’t eat them together anymore. I’m guessing that some of the reasons things like this are becoming more of an issue for people are

    a: plant based diets

    b: environmental toxic overload (garbage pail theory) making us generally less resilient
