Alchemy : I think there is really a lot of misconception about this stance, what really is it, ect. Hermeticism, even more obscurity. or who where really the alchemist and what were their pollical or social motivations (this is a extremely heavy loaded subject)?

What is alchemical medicine? Why do we need to define it even? How much baggage and ideas do you get bogged down with that prevent you from just being the essence of yourself, the embodiment of creation, is that not alchemy? How many diagrams do we need to understand the alchemical truth of our existence? should they be square or triangle, with a preference for that shape or another ? or should we take the plant or mineral essence that best suits our astrological demise, just to remove demonic aspects of existence that are apparently projected on to our being? What is sin who is the savior, who am I, and what do i believe and how do i actually feel, how do others feel about me is this alchemical?

Alchemically speaking, who is the i? is it that person standing on one of your shoulders begging you, your other self to have doubts or be unsure, or confused, or to be so proud of the toxic ego complexities, who is doing that to you? why am i suffering, isn’t that the great alchemical question? why is my life a wreck, why do i feel terrible – what is the real root? or the other way around why is my life so amazing, how can this feel so good – what is the real root? The real question is, is your inquiry and philosophy Alchemical or not? Why do you really need to define that and classify it – where does that desire come from? how many boxes and traps are created for ourselves, how much does the toxic part of ourselves sabotage our true alchemical self how many fake realities are really woven into our true ontological state of being, why do so many devilments cloud our multi faceted mind, isn’t this little something worth pondering or even better shall i just let it all go?

perhaps the greatest alchemy is to look up into the night sky and dissolve into the infinitude of the created matrix?

Hermes is the god of Weights and Measurements and has proven to be post Moses – so what a political division this already brings ?

I recommend all interested in the history of alchemy to listen to this lecture. I provide the You tube link, here is a excerpt from it:

Our cultural crisis is much greater, it is global, it is total, it involves every man woman and child on this planet, every bug bird and tree is caught up in the cultural crisis we have engendered. Our idea are exhausted the ideas that we inherent of Christianity, and of its half brother science, or its bastard child science. So what I’m suggesting is a archaic revival needs to take place, and it seems to be well in hand, in the form of goddess worship, shamanism, and partnership. But notice these things are old, 10,000 years or more old. But there was a unbroken thread, how ever thinly drawn persists right up to the present. So the idea is to show the way back to the High magic of the late paleolithic, to show, there were intellectual traditions, there were minority points of view, that keep the faith, never allowed it to die. To my mind this alchemical, hermetic, gnostic, Egyptian, Chaldean thread, is the thread, we unravel it, with sufficient care and attention, Then we can build a bridge from the otherwise nearly incomprehensible magic of the late paleolithic, we can get it as near to ourselves as John Dee, who died in 1604, we can discover it is no further away from us than the 30 years war. For my money after that it gets pretty mucked up, I mean after Eliphas Levi, whos already Waffling, I’m not really interested in the Alchemy and occultism of the 17th 18th and 19th century. It isn’t necessary to be, because scholar ship gives us the Chaldean oracles, Trismegistus hymns , Library at Nag Hammadi and so forth and So on..

Hej my questions don’t have one premise, but I think you clarified the matter with your summary

Hello, I’m not really exactly sure how to answer your response, with the original question or premise as you infer. But i think it could be asked as a question that is what were the original alchemist method of exploring the cosmos and reality with their consciousness (in short what is really their method) and i guess the real premise to the question is who were the original alchemists actually? I know a lot of scholars have written about it, but i don’t feel confident with a scholar who only studies alchemical history, but has never practiced the path, to give a competent answer! but indeed, only a actual alchemist can illuminate the question proposed. With that being said, it is like someone who has saw a picture of the grand canyon asked to describe it but whom has never been there….. how can they really know?

Ahh the reason I asked is because the way you described it on your fence didn’t meet the description of how I know it. And it turns you are referring to a completely different plant with very different medical qualities. The plant you are referring to is actually a very low dose herb that is slightly poisonous.

Ahh I was asking Chad because it seemed like it was so large for him growing on fence. The one here is quite small very petite forest plant. I will look for you and also me. I have not used it. Good time to start.
